City of Galesburg Public Works Department

The City of Galesburg Public Works Department now allows excavators to apply for a permit to work in the City Rights-of-Way online. Excavators can now apply for Sidewalk, Driveway and Dumpster permits online.

After the City Engineer receives the application he will review it and either approve or deny the permit. You may not begin working until you have received an approved permit from the City Engineer.
