During the winter months of December, January and February, yard waste is collected monthly. The collection dates for the winter months are: December 12-16, January 9-13 and February 6-10. Yard waste will be collected on the regular curbside pickup day during those weeks.
Residents should use paper yard waste bags or trash cans designated for yard waste specifically. Also, yard waste may be bundled if less than 5' in length and 50 pounds in weight. For more efficient waste pickup, separate waste at the curb in three piles – trash, recyclables, and yard waste.
Weekly collection of yard waste will resume in March, 2012.
