Youth, age 11-15, have the opportunity to learn babysitting skills for children of all ages. Topics covered include first aid, toy and game selection for various ages, identification of common safety hazards, making responsible decisions, accident prevention and much more.

Youth, age 11-15, have the opportunity to learn babysitting skills for children of all ages. Topics covered include first aid, toy and game selection for various ages, identification of common safety hazards, making responsible decisions, accident prevention and much more. A certified American Red Cross Instructor teaches the class and a certificate will be awarded upon completion. All required materials, including a handbook and an emergency reference guide are included in the fee. (Please bring a pen and / or pencil with you to class.)
The clinic will meet at the American Red Cross, 143 East Main Street, from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Pre-registration is needed by Thursday, December 20, 2012. Minimum: 10 participants.
Fee: $55.00 per person (Includes a reference manual.)
*Please bring a sack lunch and drink(s). A vending machine is available for a soda.
