    Fire Code

    Current Fire Code is the 2000 edition of the International Fire Code, adopted by City Ordinance (Reference: Municipal Ordinance Chapter 11, 11-56).

    Fire Prevention Permits (click on link for application)

    Fire Alarm System installation, modification (includes expansion/decrease), or removal of alarm system — $40

    Fire Suppression System (sprinkler or hood) installation, modification (includes expansion/decrease), or removal of suppression system — $40

    Tent Construction over 200 square feet enclosed, over 400 square feet canopy only (camping tents not included)— $30

    Annual Occupancy Permits for various building and facility uses Please see municipal code for categories and fees. Billed annually by the Finance Department, paid to the Treasurer’s office.— $30 to $60
