Seven members all of which shall be residents of the City of Galesburg or own property therein: licensed real estate broker, representative Galesburg Historical Society, licensed architect, and four at large members shall have demonstrated an interest in historic preservation.
Powers and Duties of the Commission.
The commission shall have three (3) categories of duties and powers: The first dealing with general activities involving landmark and historic preservation district identification; the second dealing specifically with landmarks; and the third dealing with historic preservation districts.
