**Proof of residency is required for purchase.
**Residents must live within the City of Galesburg city limits.
**Season passes are issued to immediate family members only. Any individual residing at the family address is welcome to purchase a separate pass. Day care providers, babysitters, foster children, grandparents, or other extended family members may not be on the family season pass.
**Passes may only be purchased at the Lakeside Administrative Office Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The office will not be open during Memorial Opening weekend or on Memorial Day.
PRIVATE SPLASHZONE PARTIES:
Reserve Lakeside SPLASHZONE for a private splash bash during off hours.
Fee: $175.00 per hour
Contact the Galesburg Recreation Division to determine facility availability
and to acquire a confirmation form. The reserved rental time includes all
time in the facility. (Changing of clothes, swimming and additional activities
planned in the facility.) Outside food may NOT be brought in the facility.
Concessions are available at rentals request. Swimming is NOT allowed during
inclement weather with thunder or lightning! Lifeguards will determine.
GROUP SPLASHZONE PARTIES
Enjoy a splash bash during regular operating hours.
Fee: $85.00 (Group of 10 plus the honored individual)
Reservations are now being made during regular hours at Lakeside Water Park.
The parties can be Birthday Parties, Sport Team Parties, Company Parties,
Family Reunions and more. Included with the party will be: 1/4 sheet theme
cake, plates, forks, 3 pitchers of pop, a special birthday room, 1 mylar/3
latex helium balloons and admission to Lakeside Water Park. Party package
provided by Hy-Vee. Each party will have the Splashzone recreation room
for 1 1/2 hours for cake and gifts.
Outside food may NOT be brought in the facility.
PARADISE CAFE
The Paradise Cafe concession service offers a variety of items. Only food and beverages that have been purchased at the concession stand may be consumed at the pool facilities, and only in the concession area.
PICNIC TABLES
Picnic tables are located outside the SPLASHZONE for those desiring to bring their own food or beverage. You may NOT bring food or beverages into the facility.
COIN LOCKERS
Lockers are available for your convenience. Lakeside Water Park and Hawthorne
Municipal Pool offer coin lockers for personal belongings
Early Closing
We will close:
if there are less than 20 patrons for a one-hour period.
If the temperature drops below 70 degrees.
If its is 70 degrees at opening, we will remain open for an hour and let the crowd determine if the park is to remain open.
If there is inclement weather, lightening or thunderstorms. No rainchecks issued.
During swim team season, the 5ft pool will close at 5 p.m. Monday-Friday for practice and meets.
Lakeside Water Park Rules
Food and drink are not permitted on the pool deck to be in accordance with state health codes.
Outside food, coolers and drinks are not permitted in the water park.
Baby strollers are not permitted on the pool deck. Car seats are permitted.
The City of Galesburg is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Glass containers and alcohol are strictly prohibited.
Young children wearing diapers must wear a rubber lining over their diaper or a swim diaper. Any child not adhering to these rules will not be allowed in the water.
Only approved swimsuits with a liner will be allowed in the water. Soccer, basketball or gym shorts are not considered trunks. No cutoffs or shorts with metal rivets. Sport bras are not considered swimming suits.
Only white shirts are permitted in the water.
Please do not wear jewelry when riding the slide.
Foul language and unruly behavior will not be tolerated. Any person who uses foul language and refuses to act accordingly will be asked to leave the park.
An adult, 18 years and older, must supervise children 8 years and younger at all times.
Showers are recommended.
