2020 Census

May 8, 2020 08:08 AM
The U.S. Constitution mandates a census of the population every 10 years. The 2020 Census will count everyone who lives in the U.S. as of April 1, 2020.

The 2020 Census is more than a population count. It’s an opportunity to shape your community’s future. An accurate count helps inform decisions about funding for hospitals, fire departments, schools, housing, and roads for the next 10 years.

Households that receive the 2020 Census invitation packets are strongly encouraged to respond promptly to the 2020 Census. People can respond online, by phone or by completing and returning the paper form by mail. Online, phone and mail response deadlines have been revised and will now be accepted until October 31, 2020.
