Drug Take Back Day - October 26

The Knox County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition and the Galesburg Police Department are hosting a Drug Take Back Day this Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of Bethel Baptist Church, 1196 North Academy Street, Galesburg.  The purpose of the event is to help decrease prescription and over the counter medicine abuse in our community and is held in conjunction with the National Drug Take Back Day sponsored by the DEA. This event is also part of National Red Ribbon Week, celebrated today through October 31, and is the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation.
