Galesburg Community Invited to Participate in Visioning Session

August 22, 2017 03:44 PM
The City of Galesburg Planning Department is hosting a Community Visioning Session that involves the Consultant Team, City Staff, The CPAC, Elected and appointed officials, and all interested members of the community. The session will include both large group and small group working sessions to review and discus conditions and potentials within the City. The large group will work together to identify issues and opportunities, and the small "breakout" groups will work together to develop "visions" for the future of the community. It will conclude with general agreement and understanding regarding the long-term role and character of Galesburg and the projects and improvements that will be desirable in the future.
The Community Visioning Session is open to all Galesburg residents to provide input. It will be held on Tuesday, September 12th from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Kensington Ball Room, located at 311 East Simmons Street, Galesburg. The City of Galesburg would like to thank the Kensington for donating the space for this community event.
