The Red Cross has opened a warming shelter at the First United Methodist Church, 120 North Kellogg Street (corner of Kellogg and Ferris Streets). The Red Cross has hot coffee available. Please enter the building from the west side of the parking lot.

 

The City of Galesburg still has approximately 2,000 residents without power, many out since yesterday morning. A large share of these are along Grand Avenue where some poles and lines are down. Ameren anticipates having all power restored in Galesburg by 8 p.m. tonight.
