The public transportation system is made up of two services.
Fixed route bus service operates on a predetermined route according to a predetermined schedule.
Paratransit bus service is a non-emergency, lift-equipped, origin-to-destination transportation system.
The City receives Federal Section 5311 Operating Assistance and Illinois Downstate Operating Assistance. Fares, exterior advertising revenue, service contracts and local match provided by the City of Galesburg help fund the public transportation system.
