Special Event Schedule: A variety of special events including teen/youth swims, theme days, bingo in the pool, adult fitness opportunities and more will be available throughout the summer. Check the Lakeside Water Park Program in our registration software for specific dates & times.

Lakeside Water Park Season Pass
A great option for families who want to enjoy Lakeside Water Park many times over the summer season. As part of your membership you will get access to all daily open swims, "Evening Swims," BINGO days & Youth/Teen Theme & Swim days. (Access to fitness programs not included) Sign up for your family membership online through our registration system any time of day or at the Recreation office Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5 pm.

Concessions Stand
The concession service offers a variety of items. Only food and beverages that have been purchased at the concession stand may be consumed at the pool facilities, and only in the concession area. (Lidded drinks may be consumed on deck if purchased in the facility)
Picnic Tables
Picnic tables are located outside the water park for those desiring to bring their own food or beverage. You may not bring food or beverages into the facility.
Coin Lockers
Lockers are available for your convenience. Lakeside Water Park and Hawthorne Municipal Pool both offer coin lockers for personal belongings.

Applications required a minimum of 7 days in advance for parties and group rates, and a minimum of 30 days for facility rentals.
Lakeside Water Park will close early in the following circumstances during open swim:
- If there are less than 20 patrons for a one-hour period, Monday-Thursday.
- If there are less than 20 patrons for more than 2 hours, Friday-Sunday and holidays.
- If the temperature drops below 65 degrees
- Top of the green slide may be closed if the air temperature is below 68 depending on wind levels & concerns of hypothermia in staff members.
- If there is inclement weather, lightning or thunderstorms
- Temperature below 62 degrees
- No attendees
- Temperature below 60 degrees
- If minimum attendance is not met for a program, cancellation will occur prior to program time
- Children age 12 & under must be supervised by an adult. Children age 8 & under must be within arms reach of an adult or pass a daily swim test with the head lifeguard.
- All guests must be able to ride the blue & green water slides without being caught.
- Food is not permitted on the pool deck, in accordance with state health codes.
- Outside food, coolers and drinks are not permitted in the water park.
- Baby strollers must be parked while on the pool deck.
- The City of Galesburg is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Glass containers and alcohol are strictly prohibited.
- Smoking, vaping, chew etc prohibited in the facility.
- Young children wearing diapers must wear a rubber lining over their diaper or a swim diaper. Any child not adhering to these rules will not be allowed in the water.
- Swimmers must wear safe swim attire that is family friendly. Clean swim suits or close fitting athletic material that covers private areas completely. No jeans or sweats in the pool.
- Please do not wear jewelry when riding the slides.
- Foul language and unruly behavior will not be tolerated. Any person who uses foul language and refuses to act accordingly will be asked to leave the park.
- Showers are recommended.
