Early Voting information for the April 2, 2019, Consolidated Election for voters in the City of Galesburg. Voters can cast a ballot prior to Election Day.

Early Voting is scheduled to begin Thursday, February 21st and continue through Monday, April 1st. The start date is dependent on ballots being available.

Early Voting will be conducted at the City Election office, City Hall, 55 W. Tompkins Street between February 21st –April 1st. Office Hours: February 21st–March 9th open Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm and Saturday, 9 am-12 noon.  March 11th –April 1st open Monday – Friday, 8 am-6 pm and Saturday, 9 am -12 noon.  Also, open Sunday, March 31st, 12 noon–4 pm.

Government-issued photo ID is not required but is helpful if there is a question about the voter's registration, address or signature. Ballots cast in Early Voting are final. After casting ballots in Early Voting, voters may not return to amend, change or undo a ballot for any reason. It is a felony to vote more than once -- or to attempt to vote more than once -- in the same election. The votes cast during the Early Voting time period will not be counted until after the polls close on Election Day.
