Hawthorne Municipal Pool - Fall Hours

The City of Galesburg Parks and Recreation Department indoor pool, Hawthorne Municipal Pool, will begin fall hours on Tuesday, September 8, 2015.  
Hawthorne Municipal Pool lane/open swim is on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 4:00-6:30 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Hawthorne Municipal Pool features a heated pool, waterslide and diving board. General admission is $5.00 per person, and the facility is open to the public. 
Aqua-Fit classes are offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m., 9:00-10:00 a.m. and 5:30-6:30 p.m.  There is also an 8:00-9:00 a.m. Aqua-Fit class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Aqua Zumba is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m.  
Registration is being taken at Lakeside Recreation Facility for the next session, September 8-October 1, 2015, of Learn to Swim.  Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for group and private lessons.  There will be an information meeting on Monday, September 14, 2015 at Hawthorne Pool at 1:00 p.m. for those that may be interested in day time group and privates lessons. Registration is also being taken for a Swim Clinic session, September 14-25, 2015.  
Aqua passes are available for purchase at Lakeside Recreation Facility during office hours, Monday-Friday, from 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. for September-December, which includes all lane/open swims and Aqua-Fit/Aqua-Zumba classes.  
Reservations are now being accepted for fall/winter Splash Parties at Hawthorne Pool. The fee is $75.00 per hour. The popular, and fun, inflatable WiBit is also in the water during rentals for additional enjoyment. Call to reserve your special day.
