Pickard Road Closed Two Weekends in September

September 1, 2016 02:33 PM
Due to the overwhelming amount of debris dropped off at Pickard Road, September 2nd and 3rd will be the last days to drop of yard debris for a couple weeks. The oversize brush and limb drop-off at Pickard Road is typically open Friday and Saturday each week until November 12th, but will be closed on September 9th and 10th and September 16th and 17th to allow the contractor to chip and remove existing debris to create space for more yard waste. Pickard Road will reopen the weekend of September 23rd and 24th from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Waste Management will continue to pick up yard waste provided it is in a plastic or metal container, 30-gallon paper yard waste bag or bundled less than 5 feet in length, less than 50 pounds and each limb is less than 5 inches in diameter.
