Presentation – City of Galesburg Online Informational Resources

A plethora of information and resources are available to the public on the City of Galesburg website. On January 28th, City staff will hold a public presentation highlighting how citizens can easily access this information through the City website. 
Topics included in the presentation include:
  • Access to City Clerk public records
  • Access to property information
  • Access to City of Galesburg Municipal Code online
  • Free resources provided by the City – such as Galesburg’s FreeWifi (what and where it is)
  • How to pay your water bill online
  • Elections 
  • GIS applications
"We are pleased to offer this opportunity for citizens to learn more about the information and resources available to them on the City’s website," stated Orlee Lucero, Information Systems Supervisor. "Transparency in local government is of the utmost importance and there are many resources and tools on the website that citizens may like to utilize." 
The information will be presented by the City of Galesburg’s Management Information Systems Division in the Erickson Conference room at City Hall, 55 West Tompkins Street on Thursday, January 28th. Two sessions will be held; 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. The presentation is free and open to the public.
