Retired Caterpillar CEO Joins Board of Intellihot Green Technologies

Sustainable Business Center tenant, Intellihot Green Technologies Inc. ("Intellihot"), today announced the appointment of Mr. Glen Barton to its Board of Directors. Intellihot manufactures energy-efficient tankless water heating systems and boilers for residential and commercial applications.
Mr. Barton is a retired chairman and chief executive officer of Caterpillar Inc. in Peoria, Illinois. With 2011 revenues of $60.138 billion, Caterpillar is the world's leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives.
Mr. Barton joins a growing Board of Directors that also includes Donald Sackman, partner with Independence Equity, a venture capital fund, Sridhar Deivasigamani, co-founder and President of Intellihot and Sivaprasad Akasam, co-founder and CTO of Intellihot.
According to Mr. Deivasigamani, "We are honored to add a man of Glen's character and accomplishment to our team. Glen's experience leading one of the world's most respected manufacturing companies is invaluable to Intellihot as we work to build a great company."
