The Galesburg Police Department announced that it showed zero tolerance for impaired driving during the Labor Day holiday, issuing 31 citations and making 9 criminal arrests.

The Galesburg Police Department partnered with law enforcement around the state for Illinois’ Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Labor Day safety campaign, ramping up its usual enforcement efforts from Aug. 20 through Sept. 4 with the addition of six saturation patrols.
