Weekly Yard Waste Collection Resumes March 1st

Weekly yard waste collection resumes March 1, 2016. Yard waste is collected weekly on residents normal refuse pick up day March through November, and monthly during December, January, and February. 
Yard waste consists of leaves, grass, shrub clippings, garden waste, brush and woody material and must be contained in a paper yard waste bag or a trash container designated for yard waste. Longer limbs may be tied with degradable twine, but must be less than 5 feet long and weigh no more than 50 lbs. In order to be picked up at the curb, limbs cannot exceed 5 inches in diameter. The city provides a brush drop off site for larger limbs or large quantities of woody yard waste. Residents may not burn yard waste or put it in the street.
